We are pleased to announce that Dr. Feng Yan, a postdoctoral research fellow in the Tang Lab, has received an NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) for his project, "Multimodal Imaging Platform for Pre-Transplantation Donor Liver Viability Assessment."
The project focuses on developing advanced multimodal imaging technologies to assess donor liver viability before transplantation and improve transplant outcomes. The K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award supports outstanding postdoctoral researchers in their transition toward independent research careers.
